Every detail is pup friendly. The layout is roomy with tables that leave space for dogs to stretch out. You’ll find fixed K9 water stations where they’re needed most so thirsty pups never miss a drop. The staff don’t just nod at your dog—they bend down, offer pat and check on their comfort. Then there’s the Dog Pawty offering. For £6 your dog gets a proper little celebration with a party hat, a themed card and a dog‑friendly sundae. It’s not just a gimmick. It turns a regular visit into something special that owners and pups both remember. And it adds an extra reason to gather friends or family and let your dog feel celebrated too.

What you won’t get here are awkward restrictions or hidden rules. No out‑the‑way seating or exclusions. Just a vibrant space where every visitor—two‑legged or four‑legged—is welcome. Drinks flow, games go on, food is served, and dogs are right there beside you. For anyone who’s walked into countless pubs hoping their dog is allowed, this one feels like a breath of fresh air.
Snippets on social media confirm it. You’ll spot snaps of dogs under tables, grinning pups in party hats, and pets enjoying their dog‑friendly sundae. No scripted moments, just genuine canine moments in a space built for them.
Few dog friendly bars and restaurants in Tower Hamlets match what Seething Lane Tap offers. It combines atmosphere, accessibility and thoughtful design in a way that feels simple but makes a real difference. If your dog gets treated like a guest elsewhere now it’s time to go somewhere they’re treated as part of the team. Seething Lane Tap is that place.
After a long journey into London, we made a b line for the Seething Lane Tap after seeing the reviews on here. We walked in looking weary and with a very thirsty dog. The staff were absolutely wonderful and they deserve to be recognised for it. What impressed me most was their intuitive service, they could see we were tired and gave us a moment to settle before taking our order but were immediately available when needed. They offered great recommendations from the menu and helped with drinks too. Their kind and professional manner turned a stressful day around completely. It's rare to find service this good these days and they really make the place.
I cannot praise the staff at Seething Lane Tap enough. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted with genuine warmth and smiles. The bartender noticed our slightly nervous rescue dog and they crouched down to her level, spoke to her gently and let her approach him in her own time. Throughout our visit, multiple team members checked on us, not in an intrusive way but with a real sense of caring hospitality.
They remembered our drink orders from the first round and were just generally lovely, attentive people who clearly take pride in making both humans and dogs feel completely welcome. It's this level of service that transforms a good pub into a great one.
Stopped in for a drink after finding it on here. Was nice inside and the staff were great with our dog from start to finish. Given half a chance she'd take us there every day!
We found this place after a walk along the Thames. It's a proper traditional pub with a good atmosphere. The staff were really welcoming to our dog, bringing over a fresh bowl of water without us having to ask. We had a couple of pints and some crisps and felt very comfortable. A reliable spot for a drink with your dog where they go out of their way to make you welcome
Good place for a drink. Dog was made the star of the show which he loved. Rather pleasant atmosphere.
